Zelensky says Russia has stepped up attacks despite Easter truce

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has accused Russia of staging the illusion of a ceasefire, all while continuing its military operations on Ukrainian soil.

In the first six hours of the ‘Easter truce’, announced by Russian president Vladimir Putin yesterday, Zelensky said there had been 387 shellings and 19 assaults by Russian forces, and drones used 290 times. There have been no reported casualties.
