Zara Tindall's wedding paid tribute to Queen Elizabeth in a way no other royal grandchild did and it showcased their special bond

A composite of pictures of Zara Tindall and Queen Elizabeth on Zara and Mike Tindall's wedding day in 2011.

Zara Tindall has described Queen Elizabeth as an "inspiration to us all" and she took this to heart on her wedding day too. She and Mike are celebrating their 15th anniversary on 30th July and when they tied the knot in 2011 they paid tribute to her grandmother with arguably the biggest decision a bride can make for her big day.

The equestrian royal walked down the aisle of Canongate Kirk in Edinburgh wearing a striking drop-waist gown. It was very different to a lot of other royal wedding dresses and unlike her cousins or their brides, she picked Stewart Parvin as her designer.
