Zaniolo, Navas and five other transfer decisions Nottingham Forest need to make before deadline day

With a Carabao Cup final appearance disappearing over the horizon, Forest can fully focus on Premier League survival for the remainder of the season.

To that end, further reinforcements are still being sought to complement the January additions of Gustavo Scarpa, Danilo and Chris Wood.

For a club which brought in 22 players in the summer it seems inconceivable that it is strength in depth Steve Cooper craves, but here we are. And that means when a player is available - or even when he isn’t - Forest’s name will invariably be mentioned.

We have picked out seven of the most prominent and want to know your views via our Swerve or Swoop tool.

Everton’s Anthony Gordon has been talked about but an asking price of £55m would seem to rule Forest out of the chase, clearing the way for Newcastle.

And Forest appear to be near the back of the queue when it comes to Shakhtar Donetsk’s Tete, currently on loan at Lyon, and AS Roma’s Nicolo Zaniolo.

But would the club be better off focusing their efforts on one prestige signing rather than trying to cover all bases?

Dean Henderson’s injury has opened up talk of a move for PSG veteran Keylor Navas. Potentially available for around £4m, is he a signing worth pursuing? Or would Dinamo Zagreb’s Dominik Livakovic, eight years his junior, be a more sensible move?

And just in front, would a move for Michael Keane be advisable given the centre-back has slipped down the pecking order at Everton. The departure of Frank Lampard is bound to complicate matters, however, making the likelihood of a fresh Forest bid for Montpellier’s Maxime Esteve possible. But having already seen an offer of £10m turned down, should the club walk away?

Or given Steve Cooper’s need for bodies, should they go all and try to sign the lot?
