LaVine underwent surgery in February to address a floating bone in his foot that had been causing him persistent pain.
The decision to undergo surgery was made by LaVine and his agency, Klutch Sports Group, after consulting with medical professionals. The 2023-24 season came to an early end for LaVine after playing in only 25 games due to a series of injuries to his right foot.
