The 2023 NBA draft is less than a month away, which means pre-draft visits and workouts have ramped up.
The Oklahoma City Thunder own the draft picks at No. 12, No. 37 and No. 50, which creates a wide range of prospects they could select at those spots.
One possibility at No. 50 is Purdue center Zach Edey — who was spotted in OKC this week, per KFOR’s Dylan Buckingham. He is likely in town for a pre-draft visit with the Thunder.

The 21-year-old has spent three college seasons at Purdue. In 34 games last season, he averaged 22.3 points on 60.7% shooting, 12.9 rebounds and 2.1 blocks.
If Edey stays in this draft class — he has until the end of May 31 to return to Purdue for his senior season — he will likely be an option for the Thunder at the No. 50 spot. There’s also a good chance the 7-foot-4 big man will be available as an undrafted free agent.
The 2023 NBA draft is scheduled for Thursday, June 22. A full list of prospects who’ve met with the Thunder can be read here.
