Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a £25million deal to sign Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma, it has been claimed.
The Malian midfielder has been linked with a move to Liverpool over the last 12 months, with rumours intensifying around the time of Gini Wijnaldm's departure at the end of the 2020/21 season. The Reds decided against recruiting in this position, content with the options at the club, and moved only to sign French defender Ibrahima Konate during the summer window.
Bissouma has been a standout performer for the Seagulls since arriving at the club ahead of the 2018/19 campaign and has made no secret of his desire to operate at the highest level as a player. Speaking to Brighton's club website last summer, he said: "I didn’t go this summer, maybe its because it’s not my time to go.
