In his nearly two-decade international cricket career, Yuvraj played 402 matches and scored 11,778 runs at an average of 35.05 and strike rat eof 83.74. He struck 17 centuries and 71 fifties.

Fifty and five wickets in an innings in an ODI

In March 2011, Yuvraj took 5/31 against Ireland in Bengaluru. He then followed it up with an unbeaten 50 off 75 to steer India to a 5-wicket win with 24 balls to spare. He was adjudged Player of the Match for this performance. In the process, he joined elite company of Vivian Richards, Mark Waugh, Sourav Ganguly and Shahid Afridi to name a few.

Once again, highlighting his achievements all around. Besides being a nifty batter in the middle order and a wicket-taker with his spin bowling, Yuvraj was also one of the best fielders in the Indian team. He took 94 catches in ODI matches in his career to go with the 8701 runs and 111 wickets.
