A fresh lead has emerged in the Nancy Guthrie disappearance after a YouTuber alleged a plumber visited the 84-year-old's Tucson home roughly a week before she vanished. The claim, posted on X by streamer Mark the Shark, suggests the tradesman's presence could be significant to the seven-month-old investigation that has so far yielded no named suspects.
The news came after months of frustrating silence from investigators. Nancy Guthrie, mother of NBC's Today co-host Savannah Guthrie, was last seen on 31 January before police believe she was abducted from her Catalina Foothills residence in the early hours of 1 February.
