YouTube star Bryce Hall left confused by fight call-out from Ed Matthews

Bryce Hall has claimed he doesn't know who Ed Matthews is after his fight call-out last night.

Matthews made his boxing debut on a Kingpyn Boxing card at the Indigo O2 where he fought against long-term rival Simple Simon in front of a raucous crowd. The 19-year-old made an impression on his debut quickly dispatching of his rival with a series of thundering shots that ended the contest with just 48 seconds on the clock.

After his explosive victory, Matthews was delighted with his display and made a renewed fight call to TikTok star Hall who has already himself made an impression in the boxing ring. Hall has since issued a confused response on social media, tweeting: "Who the hell is Ed and why did he call me out for a boxing match?"

Fans of TikTok star Matthews had relentlessly tagged Hall in the posts to get his attention again, with Matthews having previously tried to call out Hall during the build-up to his fight with Simon. However, it appears a fight between the pair now looks unlikely with Hall continuing to downplay any rivalry between the pair.

Hall has fought in the boxing ring just once taking on fellow YouTuber Austin McBroom last year but was comprehensively beaten after being stopped in the third period. The YouTube star previously vowed to bounce back but would prefer to take on One Direction singer Liam Payne.

He tweeted: "F*** it, I'm down to fight Liam Payne", with the singer's former girlfriend Maya Henry showing her support for the social media star on her TikTok page. Matthews also moved to call out YouTube star AnEson Gib shortly after the victory with 'Gibber' set to meet Hall's conqueror McBroom later this month in Los Angeles.

“It was easy I’m not going to lie I wanted it to go on longer," Matthews told Seconds Out. "30 seconds? Come on at least two minutes. I’m annoyed I was loving every second of that. F****** loved every second of it, that was mad I’m just waiting for the next fight now let’s f***ing have it now geez. AnEson Gib stop hiding. You don’t want smoke, you don’t want smoke.”

Gib will likely go into the contest as the favourite against McBroom later this month having recently fought Taylor Holder. The fight was originally announced as a controversial majority draw but was later overturned with boxing promoter Social Gloves delivering an inquest into the event.
