YouTube star Adam B is encouraging people to sign up for his 'colour run' next month in an attempt to end the stigma surrounding depression.
The Blue Peter host, who announced he would be leaving the show this month, will host the run next month at the Templemore Sports Complex in Derry.
Those taking part will be asked to run, jog or walk around the 2km route whilst being covered in coloured paint, with all proceeds going to Derry -charity AWARE NI.

The local charity helps tackle anxiety and depression in young people, delivering mental health and well-being programmes into communities, schools, colleges, universities and workplaces.
Speaking ahead of the event on July 9, Adam B said: "It's so important to raise awareness at an early age about how it's okay to talk about your feelings.
"It's okay to open up. It's okay to not be okay sometimes. You don't have to struggle in silence. So come join me on Saturday 9th July at 12PM at the Complex for a day full of fun, laughs and A LOT of colour!"
Meanwhile, Karen Collins, Chief Executive at AWARE, said that more young people were beginning to come forward after the Covid-19 lockdowns.
“We are delighted and extremely grateful to have the support of Adam B through this exciting colour run event," Karen told MyDerry.
"Adam is a fantastic ambassador both for Derry and for promoting positive mental health through his online platforms.
"With mental ill-health affecting so many people here in Derry and across Northern Ireland, funds raised from this event will be vital in helping us offer support to people who need it.
"We are seeing lots of young people coming forward who are struggling with their mental health, having been particularly affected by the last couple of years in lockdown. That’s why it’s so essential for local mental health services to be prioritised when it comes to funding opportunities.
"We would encourage anyone in the local area to participate in this fantastic family-friendly event. Not only will it bring people together for some fun and exercise, but it will also start some meaningful conversations around mental health and raise awareness of the issues being faced by our community.
"Well done, and thanks to Adam and his team.”
