Too Hot To Handle contestant Chase DeMoor quit his fight with YouTuber Josh Brueckner in Austin last night after "seeing three" of his rival.
The much smaller Brueckner had to bulk up to hit the minimum of heavyweight limit for their ICB championship fight and gave up a massive size advantage to his rival. But with a background in combat sports that includes over a dozen MMA fights at professional and amateur levels and a professional boxing bout, his experience was far too much for the reality TV star.
DeMoor came out of the traps aggressively in the first, but the skill gap quickly showed and he couldn't make the size difference count. He struggled to land or even throw particularly big punches, and was rocked at multiple points in the opening exchanges.
By the second round, DeMoor was struggling to stay on his feet, and at one point spat out his mouthpiece as Brueckner took control of the contest. Commentators on the DAZN broadcast noted that it seemed DeMoor was "seeing three of" his opponent as he swung with his punches that seemed as if he were underwater at times before the referee asked if he was okay to continue.
The football player, who is slated to take part in the upcoming resurrection of the XFL under Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson next year, insisted that he was fine to continue, but his posture said differently. And after two gruelling rounds of punishment at Brueckner's hands, he was unable to get off his stool for the third, with the former MMA fighter taking the stoppage win.

"First round I was a little nervous because Chase came out a little harder than I expected," Katie Brueckner, Josh's wife told Mirror Fighting after the bout. "Honestly, I wasn't too nervous about Josh's abilities because Josh is an athlete and I knew he'd show up, I'm just really proud of him.
"He actually practiced for this and trained and he came ready and prepared, so Josh always come out with the win. I was nervous that Josh wasn't going to make weight because Josh only weighs about 190lb, he had to drink so much water to weigh 207lb, he looked like he was pregnant with abs!
"So I was nervous he would make the weight but once he did that it was a big factor gone. Size doesn't always matter, obviously it helps in boxing. But Josh was so much better in technique and skill, he loves boxing, he loves fighting, he's not doing this just because he's an influencer, he really loves this."
