YouTube boxer KSI admits he has "shifted focus" from Jake Paul to Tommy Fury

KSI has told of how frustrations over a deal with Jake Paul have led him to shift his focus towards a fight with Tommy Fury later this year.

The Brit will face Joe Fournier on Saturday night at Wembley Arena, and has made it clear he is hopeful for Love Island star and unbeaten boxer Fury as his next challenge. Brother of world heavyweight champion Tyson, Tommy made his own name on reality TV before announcing himself as a major pay-per-view star with his win over Paul in Saudi Arabia this February.

And KSI has now set his sights on his own showdown with the younger Fury sibling, declaring he would like to 'indirectly' get to Paul by beating the man who handed him his sole boxing loss. Talks are already underway between the two sides, with Tommy's dad John Fury meeting with the Sauerland brothers to discuss a potential bout earlier this year.

"My focus is now Tommy," he told Mirror Fighting ahead of his meeting with Fournier. "Because I know I won't be able to directly get to Jake, he's doing a runner. He doesn't want it, he was being like 'yeah, yeah I want to fight KSI' but when it came to actually doing it he doesn't want any part of it. So I'm glad his fanbase, my fans, the general public know that he's full of s***."

And KSI is excited about the prospect of facing a man whom almost everyone in the sport believes he can't beat in Fury, who showed the levels to his boxing game against Paul in February. The Brit has even previously admitted it is likely that he would be the underdog against Paul if they were to fight, let alone the one who defeated him.

"Everyone sees him as a guy that's going to destroy me," KSI said of Fury. "I have no chance. I love that. For me, I know it's going to make me a better boxer, better fighter and better person in general. So once I get in the ring and show the world that Tommy Fury ain't s***, then what?"

And KSI added he is sick of Paul's demands, saying: "With him he's always trying to change the goalposts. He's trying to be like 'we'll fight in the UK, actually I don't want to fight in the UK any more'. Then he does 'it has to be signed by the British Boxing Board of Control, actually I don't want to do that any more'. It's constantly just that he moves the goalposts.

"I'm there, ready, I want to fight but he just doesn't want it so I've been saying it for time that I want to fight Jake Paul. That was the sole reason I came back to boxing, and I think he knows that and that's why he wants to avoid me. He knows as soon as I get to that goal that he's done and I have become victorious and my legacy will live on forever.

"He will be constantly reminded that he's the guy that lost to KSI. He'll be the guy that wanted to avenge Logan Paul and failed, he'll just be seen as this guy that's lost and won't know what to do again and what, he'll try to go back to Disney? Or maybe go back to trying to make s****y YouTube vlogs? I don't know."
