Sky has just pushed out an update to its popular Sky Q devices that's aimed at boosting the free content available to customers.
Those with one of these set-top boxes under their tellies will now find the addition of a new STV Player app on the homepage. It now joins other services such Netflix, Apple TV+ and DIsney+ which are also all available at the touch of a button on the Q remote. The only difference is that STV Player - which offers hours of shows such as Escape Artist and Blood, Taggart and Brookside - is totally free to watch.
