NEW DELHI: As IPL giants Mumbai Indians on Friday named Hardik Pandya their skipper ahead of the 2024 edition of the tournament, the franchise also thanked a highly-successful Rohit Sharma for his exemplary services.
In a heartwarming video shared on social media, the five-time champions labelled Rohit as their 'forever captain', highlighting that his legacy will be etched in Blue & Gold.
Rohit took over the captaincy of the franchise in 2013, taking them to title triumphs in -- 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2020 respectively.
