Parents and guardians of young children who need car seats will be able to check if they're fitted correctly at an upcoming Dublin event.
The Road Safety Authority Check It Fits service will be returning to the capital for the first time in over two years - it's free of charge and only takes 10 to 15 mins. On Monday 26 September they'll be at Tony Kealy's Coolock in the Northside Retail Park between 10am and 5.30pm.
Of the car seats checked by the RSA in 2019 more than half of them, 56%, were fitted incorrectly. And almost a third of seats fitted incorrectly needed major adjustments.
