A teenager has been seriously injured after falling from a height at a shopping centre in Cork this afternoon.
The incident took place at the Douglas Village Shopping Centre at around 4pm on Thursday.
Witnesses to the incident told CorkBeo that the girl fell from the third storey of the car park.

The teenager is understood to have been responsive after the fall but was seriously injured.
Emergency services including Cork City Fire Brigade and the National Ambulance Service as well as Gardai were on the scene shortly after the incident.
She was taken to Cork University Hospital by ambulance.
A Garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí attended the scene of an incident at a business premises in Douglas, Cork this afternoon, Thursday 18th May 2023, shortly before 4pm.
"A female teenage juvenile was taken to Cork University Hospital by Ambulance services."
In a tweet on Thursday, Cork City Fire Brigade said: “Crews are currently at an incident in the vicinity of the Douglas Shopping Centre Car Park and we would ask people to avoid the area if possible."
