A young woman has emerged on Instagram claiming she is missing British girl Madeleine McCann.
The bizarre video emerged in recent days of a German woman who claims she "could be Madeleine McCann" and has since gone viral with many re-shares, including on TikTok.
Madeleine was just four years old when she disappeared from her holiday apartment while on holiday in Praia da Luz in Portugal in 2007.

Mystery has surrounded the search for Maddie in recent years but no trace of her has ever been found. A number of social media users, particularly on TikTok, have gone viral in the last five years thanks to their resemblance to her.
A German woman who says she's 21 is the latest to make the claim.
The Daily Star has told how the woman posted evidence to her Instagram account @iammadeleinemcann and explained that a comment from her grandmother prompted her to think she may be the missing youngster a few years ago.
"It was something that I heard from my grandma," she added.
She also claims to have freckles similar to Madeleine on her her legs and is so convinced she is her that she wants to take a DNA test. She also reaches out to Madeleine's parents in her Instagram bio.
“Help me, I need to talk with Kate and Gerry McCann I think I can be Madeleine. I need DNA test," it reads.
She also claims police investigators in the UK and Poland are ignoring her but that she will continue to tell her story here [on Instagram].
The unnamed woman's so-called evidence is unsubstantiated but has managed to attract over 25,000 followers with her story also circulating on TikTok.
