Young South Australian footballer Antonio Loiacono's brain donated to concussion research

The brain of a young footballer, whose life was tragically cut short after an on-field incident last month, will be donated to the Australian Sports Brain Bank for concussion research.

Antonio Loiacono, 20, died after being critically injured during an A-grade match in the Adelaide Hills on April 23.
