A young Scots boy will become the first person from the UK to undergo a clinical trial in America for his inoperable brain tumour.
Rudi Abbot will travel with his family next month to begin the treatment trial for the rare cancer.
The eight-year-old was diagnosed with a rare grade four pineoblastoma after experiencing symptoms including headaches, tiredness and leg pain in August 2020.
