A casting agency is currently looking for two local actors to play the lead roles in an upcoming production for Sky.
Director Edward Hall is looking for two male actors based in Northern Ireland to star in his new TV movie set to film in Belfast in 2023.
'Joy to the World' is a Christmas film about real people struggling with real-world hardship.

They are currently looking for male actors aged between seven and 14 to play Mikey and Sean, the child leads of the production.
The casting call reads: "For Edward Hall’s new TV movie for SKY ‘Joy to the World’ we are looking for two boys aged 7 to 14 based in Northern Ireland to play the child leads.
"A Christmas story about real people struggling with real world hardship.
"It seemed like a brilliant plan - steal the money from a bank focused as Santa then disappear amongst hundreds of other Santas in your town’s annual Festive Santa Run.
"Only the robber is spotted escaping into the woods by 12-year-old MIKEY.
"A heart-warming sorry about the importance of belief. Belief in each other, belief in the truth, honesty and of magic…"
They are looking for:
- Two boys ages seven to 14 to play Mikey and Sean
- Acting experience is not required but interest in acting would be ideal
- Based in Northern Ireland
- Shooting for 5 1/2 weeks from February 13, 2023, filming in Belfast
