Young mum died after thinking her symptoms were 'baby brain'

A young mum thought her dizziness was due to "baby brain", but it was actually an aggressive cancer.

Alan Johnstone, 38, lost his wife, Anneka, 33, on November 18, 2019, just six months after she was diagnosed with a glioblastoma, an aggressive type of cancer that occurs in the brain or spinal cord.

Alan met his "childhood sweetheart" when he was 18 and they later married in 2015. Anneka gave birth to their daughter, Sienna, now four, in 2018.
