An Irish tourist is critically ill after falling from a tourist spot in Italy while taking a selfie, it has emerged.
The Irish Mirror has learned that the tourist suffered serious head injuries in the fall in the centre of Genoa in the north west of the country over the weekend.
Media reports in Italy say witnesses have told cops that the unnamed tourist was taking a photograph at the San Giuliano bathing area when the tragedy happened.
