A girl who narrowly missed accidently hitting President Joe Biden with a sliotar has said her near miss was "such a bad shot."
Lucy Bourke (11) has already earned the nickname 'Lee Hurley Oswald,' her father Willie Bourke revealed on Friday, in reference to Lee Harvey Oswald, who is believed to have shot then-US president John F Kennedy in Dallas in 1963.
The US President was watching the youngsters from local Dublin clubs displaying their skills on the grounds of Farmleigh House with Taoiseach Leo Varadkar on Thursday afternoon.

The fun match featured girls from local Castleknock, Dublin, GAA clubs, St Brigid’s and St Oliver Plunkett’s Eoghan Ruadh.
At one stage while the Taoiseach and President were talking on the sideline, a sliotar from one of the Brigid’s girls went whizzing past President Biden’s ear, missing taking out the American leader by just a couple of feet.
The President broke into a trot as he turned around to go after the sliotar which had gone into the trees behind him.
But the quick-footed camogie girl was faster than the 80-year-old visiting President and got there well before him.
Lucy told the Irish Times: "I thought everyone was going to be giving out to me because it was such a bad shot, but instead everyone was laughing."
