Young Edinburgh woman suffers 'targeted' Christmas Day attack as police hunt man

Edinburgh Police

A young Edinburgh woman was attacked on Christmas Day in what police believe to be a 'targeted' assault.

Officers have issued an urgent appeal for information after the 32-year-old was assaulted on December 25 on Graysknowe in Longstone.

Taking place at around 6pm, the woman was attacked by a man, before he then entered the passenger side of a dark-coloured Volkswagen parked nearby and left the area. The victim did not require hospital treatment.
