Young Dublin mum dies following weight loss surgery in Turkey

A young Dublin mum has reportedly died after undergoing weight loss surgery in Turkey.

The woman, who was in her 30s and from west Dublin, died following a bariatric procedure. The cause of her death has not yet been confirmed.

Her family are currently in Turkey with work underway to expatriate her body back to Ireland. The Department of Foreign Affairs is providing consular assistance, reports Independent.ie.
