Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane has hailed the influence of Takumi Minamino at Liverpool.
Minamino played a key role in helping the Reds progress to the quarter-final of the FA Cup after victory against Norwich City.
The Japan international scored twice in Liverpool’s 2-1 win over the Canaries in the fifth round of the competition, to reach the last-eight for the first time since Jurgen Klopp took charge in 2015.
Minamino’s first goal came after a tidy pass from Divock Origi inside the six-yard box helped set up a simple finish for the 27-year-old.

His second was much more eye-catching, latching onto a loose ball in the penalty area to hit his effort first time and clipping the post on the way into the net.
After the game, Keane praised Minamino’s ability to make an impact in the team despite not being a regular starter for Liverpool.
“When you look at the way in which he scored those two goals, you wouldn’t know that he had not played a lot of football because they are both good finishes,” Keane told ITV Sport.
“It helps that he is a popular member of the dressing room because he comes in, scores goals and the whole team is happy for him.”
Liverpool are now in the quarter-final of the FA Cup, joining Manchester City, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Middlesbrough and Southampton.
Everton vs Boreham Wood and Nottingham Forest vs Huddersfield Town are the remaining two ties to be played, with the draw for the quarter-final taking place on Thursday night.
