NEW DELHI: Former India cricketer Irfan Pathan expressed words of encouragement and support for his brother, ex-India all-rounder Yusuf Pathan, as he embarks on a new journey in the field of politics.

The Trinamool Congress announced on Sunday that Yusuf Pathan is among the 42 candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024. He will be contesting from the Baharampur constituency.
