Leeds United supporters have taken to Twitter to share their relief at the reports which claim Marcelo Bielsa is set to reject the opportunity to manage Everton.

Everton sacked Frank Lampard on Monday after a run of nine defeats in 12 games has left them in 19th place in the Premier League. Sean Dyche, who was also on the board's list of candidates, is now in pole position to succeed Lampard.

@chris_walton21 I'm not going to lie, I was worried when he flew in!
@moxie1984 He's Leeds and he knows he is.
@PoppypugMills You don't choose Bielsa, he chooses you. Everton is so toxic, the ultimate poisoned chalice.
@davball15 A part of me wanted him to go there so we had the chance of actually giving him the send off he so richly deserves.
@123_leeds He'll have flown over just to tell them that because he's that nice.
@FionaB_88 He flew all the way here, just to tell them no. I love him.
@JamieMcEvoy My manager.
@samjackson23 I love him!
@DavidKWilliams I love you, Marcelo. Now stop talking to other Premier League clubs.
@bruky99 He only came over to watch the Accrington Stanley game, didn't he?
@Redpeter99 At Leeds, Bielsa had a board that granted his every wish. A hungry squad of players desperate to succeed and improve. A clear goal, promotion. The whole club and support buying into the project. The situation at Everton could hardly be more different.
@npick69 What time is he meeting Radz?
@srrrose17 He's in the country. Bring him home.
