Asda has brought back the popular ‘First Scan Bonus’ to its Rewards app. Asda customers have earned almost £4 million in their Cashpots since the bonus was first introduced in February this year. New users can once again take advantage of the ‘First Scan Bonus’ by downloading Asda Rewards, signing up for an account, and scanning the app for the first time to receive £5 in their Cashpot.
The ‘First Scan Bonus’ will run until Sunday, July 30, available both in-store and online with no minimum spend required.
Customers who download and sign up to Asda Rewards for the first time will receive a free £5 in their Cashpot. Customers who have previously downloaded the app but are yet to scan for the first time, will also benefit from the bonus. The loyalty app now has over five million active users in the UK and has given customers over £180m back on their shopping since last August.
Every time they shop, customers complete Missions and buy Star Products to help grow their Cashpot. There are new missions and events each week, so there are plenty of ways for customers to maximise the Rewards they earn.
Vouchers can be created out of their Cashpot with as little as £1. With the maximum voucher amount at £100, there are plenty of ways that customers can utilise their Cashpot.
