After Candace Owens made one of her most pointed criticisms of Donald Trump yet, a new split in conservative media circles is getting a lot of attention. The comments she made during her April 13 livestream show that people who used to agree on a lot of things are now more divided. What started as policy disagreements has now turned into very personal and moral accusations. This makes people question the loyalty, power, and future of Trump's media support base.
Owens was very open. She used religious language, talked about her political frustration, and expressed her personal disappointment, which made the moment go viral on social media. The strength of her words shows a bigger change in right-leaning media, where voices that used to be in agreement are now arguing more and more about foreign policy choices and the direction of leadership.
