- A man who died after being attacked by a tiger at Yorkshire Wildlife Park on Saturday was visiting the park alone, police say.
- The man climbed into a tiger enclosure and was fatally mauled after reportedly overpowering a woman who tried to prevent him from entering.
- Police said that his identity will not be released at the request of his family.
- City of Doncaster Council has launched a health and safety investigation into the incident, alongside South Yorkshire Police and health agencies.
- Doncaster’s deputy civic mayor councillor Nick Allen said: “We don’t know all the circumstances yet and the speculation online is obviously upsetting and unneeded.”
