Former NBA center Yao Ming was in attendance for the Nets’ season opener on Wednesday night.
The Hall of Famer was seated courtside at the Barclays Center as Brooklyn hosted the Cavaliers, and he was occupying plenty of space with his 7’6” frame.
Photos from the game showed Yao sitting with his legs crossed in his courtside seat, and although it seemed as if he had a tremendous view of the game action, the same could not be said for those sitting behind him.
The photo of Yao made the rounds on social media, and plenty of NBA fans were quick to crack the same joke about the former Rockets’ eight-time All-Star obstructing the view of other fans.
Yeah… sitting behind Yao Ming has to be brutal 😂😂😂😂😂 pic.twitter.com/wownvM5sG2

There's an unhappy woman who paid a lot of money for a courtside seat behind Yao Ming tonight.
