New York Yankees closer Clay Holmes is a big problem for any hitter that has to step in the box and try to make contact with any of his pitches.
That was on display Saturday night in Baltimore when the right hander shut down the Orioles in the ninth inning to pick up his second save of the season in the the Yankees’ 4-1 victory at Camden Yards.
Holmes threw one of the more disgusting pitches of the MLB season when he struck out Orioles shortstop Gunnar Henderson with a 98-mph pitch that basically looked like a cheat code.
