The run-up to EICMA is intensifying with various spy shots coming from BMW's camp. But now, brands are starting to release their own statements to ramp up public excitement, and the latest has come from Yamaha's camp. Last week, MotoBob speculated on the announcement he received from Yamaha, but opinions are still divided as to what form the latest addition to the Japanese brand will take.
The announcement from Yamaha reads, "Yamaha is redefining the standard. The industry has followed the same rhythm for quite some time. We are ready for that to change. Something new is coming." The accompanying image is of a cardiac monitor showing three distinct beats, although the spacing between the beats isn't identical. Between the statement, accompanying image, and rumors about what Yamaha has been up to over the past year, we can surmise a couple of theories.
