xTool O1 vs P2S vs F2 Ultra: Which Creative Setup Fits Your Business Best?

Buying a creative machine becomes difficult the moment every option starts looking capable.

One printer promises multiple production methods. A CO2 laser can turn sheets of acrylic into finished products. A specialized laser system can move from metal to crystal. On paper, they can all help a customization business make money—but they do not make money in the same way.

That is why comparing the xTool O1 Omni Printer, xTool P2S 55W Desktop CO2 Laser Cutter, and F2 Ultra MOPA+UV Ultimate Business Duo by specifications alone misses the point.

The better question is: What do you actually want to sell?

The differences become much clearer once each system is placed inside a real workshop.

Choose the xTool O1 When Variety Matters More Than One Specialty

The xTool O1 Omni Printer: The World’s First 4-in-1 Omni Printer makes the strongest case for businesses that hate turning customers away because the next order uses a different material.

Depending on its edition, the O1 supports UV printing, DTG printing, DTF transfers and UV DTF transfers. xTool positions it for applications ranging from acrylic, wood, glass and metal to apparel, hats, shoes, stickers and curved products.

That makes its competitive advantage different from the P2S or F2 Ultra. It is not primarily about cutting material away or burning a permanent mark into a surface. It is about adding full-colour graphics to more kinds of products.

The ecosystem reinforces that approach.

The xTool OR1 Rotary Attachment for O1 Omni Printer extends printing from flat surfaces to cylindrical or curved objects. The xTool LM1 Laminator/RF1 Roll Feeder for O1 Omni Printer expands the workflow toward roll media, UV DTF production and lamination.

Then there is the less glamorous but equally practical xTool Selected UV Printing Primer Wipe for O1 Omni Printer (50pcs), alongside xToolCare for O1 Omni Printer and Worry-Free Purchase.

In other words, O1 makes sense when your catalogue may include a shirt on Monday, a tumbler on Tuesday and branded promotional products by Friday.

Choose the P2S When the Material Itself Becomes the Product

The xTool P2S 55W Desktop CO2 Laser Cutter approaches customization from the opposite direction.

Instead of printing a design onto a sheet of acrylic, you can cut the acrylic into the design.

That distinction changes the entire type of business you can build.

The P2S uses a 55W CO2 laser and is specifically positioned for cutting and engraving materials such as acrylic and wood. One of the biggest advantages of CO2 technology here is its ability to handle acrylic in different colours, including clear acrylic. xTool states that the P2S can cut up to 20 mm clear acrylic in one pass under its specified conditions.

Think signage, display pieces, decorative panels, ornaments, layered artwork, product components and custom shapes.

Its accessories are consequently very different from the O1 accessories.

The Honeycomb Panel 2.0 for P2/P2S is aimed at supporting cutting work, particularly smaller pieces. xTool lists a 5 kg maximum loading capacity and includes magnetic material pins with the panel.

You can complement that with Material Pins for P2, while the Riser Base for P Series creates additional room for taller workpieces. The Laser Mirrors Pack for P Series (3pcs) belongs to the maintenance side of the machine rather than the creative side, but that distinction matters in a production environment: accessories help you make more things; replacement components help you keep making them.

So, compared with the O1, the P2S is the stronger choice when the business is built around laser cutting, fabrication and physical product construction rather than colour printing.

Choose the F2 Ultra Duo When the Finish Is the Product

The F2 Ultra MOPA+UV Ultimate Business Duo moves into another category entirely.

The combination pairs a 60W MOPA laser with UV laser capability. According to xTool, the setup can work across metals, glass, crystal, acrylic, wood and other materials while supporting applications such as metal colour marking, embossing and crystal engraving. It also uses 48MP dual cameras and supports working speeds up to 15,000 mm/s.

Where the P2S shines when you need to cut an acrylic shape, the F2 Ultra Duo becomes interesting when the customer cares about what is engraved into the surface.

Metal gifts are a good example.

Instead of simply putting a printed graphic onto an item, laser engraving can turn a name, logo or design into a permanent part of the product. The MOPA side is particularly relevant to metal processing, while UV expands the setup toward materials such as glass and crystal.

That puts the F2 Ultra Duo closer to premium personalization, jewellery-style products, corporate gifts and high-detail engraving.

What About Apparel Printing?

This is where comparing ecosystems becomes important.

The O1 can support fabric workflows on the appropriate edition, but xTool also has a dedicated apparel-printing supply ecosystem.

The 500ml Apparel Printer Ink is made specifically for the xTool Apparel Printer and is offered in cyan, magenta, yellow, black and white. xTool states that its apparel ink system is OEKO-TEX certified.

Running that printer means thinking beyond ink.

The 500ml Apparel Printer Moisturizing Liquid is designed to keep the print head moist during periods of inactivity, helping reduce dried ink and nozzle clogging.

The wider maintenance and production set includes Apparel Printer Cleaning Fluid, Apparel Printer Powder (1kg), the 30-Day Worry-Free DTF Material Bundle, xTool Upgrade Kit for Apparel Printer, and Filters for SafetyPro™ AP2.

Compared with laser engraving, DTF printing brings more recurring consumables into the business. The trade-off is access to an enormous apparel market: shirts, uniforms, branded clothing and custom fashion merchandise.

Comparing the Products You Can Actually Sell

Machines are easier to compare when you stop staring at the machines.

Look at the blanks.

The Laserable PU Patch Bookmarks (4pcs) and Laserable PU Stainless Steel Hip Flask (6oz) naturally point toward personalized gifting.

The Leather Keychain (5pcs), Stainless Steel Military Keychain (10pcs) and Stainless Steel Round Keychain (10pcs) give you multiple approaches to the same category. One customer may want leather; another may prefer polished metal.

The Multicolored LED Lights K5 Crystal Rectangular Keychain (10pcs) pushes that idea toward crystal personalization, while the Cuff Bracelet (3pcs) creates another route into wearable gifts.

Even the Black Laser Marking Pen for Glass (2pcs) tells you something about how broad a laser customization catalogue can become: sometimes the opportunity is not another machine but a way to make an existing material work better with the process.

This is where the comparison becomes commercial rather than technical.

O1 is strongest when customers want colour and variety.

P2S becomes attractive when customers want shapes, cut products and fabrication.

F2 Ultra Duo makes the strongest argument when customers want high-detail engraving and premium finishes.

An apparel-printing setup is the obvious direction when repeat orders revolve around wearable merchandise.

So, Which xTool Setup Wins?

There is no useful universal winner because these machines solve different production problems.

If you run a gift shop that constantly jumps between product types, the flexibility of the xTool O1 Omni Printer is difficult to ignore.

If you want to produce acrylic signs, cut components or wooden products from raw sheets, the xTool P2S 55W Desktop CO2 Laser Cutter is far closer to the job.

If your customer is paying for the engraving itself—especially on metal, crystal or detailed premium items—the F2 Ultra MOPA+UV Ultimate Business Duo deserves the closer look.

And if T-shirts, uniforms and wearable merchandise are the business, build the workflow around apparel printing supplies rather than forcing a laser to solve a printing problem.

The best machine is not the one capable of the most impressive demo.

It is the one that matches the products your customers will actually pay you to make.
