XSEED Games announced that they've partnered with developers Little Chicken for the release of Moonlight Peaks in North America. While this news is indeed exciting, the wait is going to be a bit long since it's slated to come out in 2026. Still, it's going to be part of the ever-growing library of third-party titles that's been published by XSEED.
Moonlight Peaks takes place in the titular town which serves as home to vampires, werewolves, mermaids, and other supernatural denizens, especially those who come out at night. This is a place where the unnatural is considered the norm.
Players take on the role of a grown-up child of Count Dracula. They'll need to prove to their skeptical father that despite being undead, a life of compassion is still possible. Players need to design the perfect vampire lair and learn more about witchcraft and how to farm magical crops.
Along the way they'll get to meet a wide range of human and supernatural residents that call Moonlight Peaks their home. They may even find eternal love.
Talking about this title, XSEED Games Executive Vice President Kenji Hosoi shared in a statement that they're always on the lookout for projects which offer their audience diverse new titles that also tie in with their indie publishing efforts. He added that the game is indeed a fit to its experience in publishing farming/life sim games.
Meanwhile, Little Chicken Game Company President Yannis Bolman revealed that they've excited to be part of Marvelous USA and its publishing brand XSEED Games especially since they're considered as pioneers when it comes to farming and life-sim video games. He went on to say that they hope to introduce players to their very own innovative and unique ideas for the genre.
