XDefiant releases new open beta - how to preload on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X

XDefiant Defiant PC Mark Rubin Ubisoft PlayStation

Players of free-to-play shooter game XDefiant will be happy to know it has launched its second open beta on Wednesday.

Following Ubisoft's closed beta of the FPS game on Tuesday, XDefiant's servers are now open for anyone wishes to play on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X. While some got to preload and play early yesterday, all gamers now have the opportunity to join thanks to the XDefiant open beta.

This comes after Defiant's hugely popular first beta from April 13-24 which drew in a staggering one million players in its first week. However, players were left complaining of stability issues, prompting game producer Mark Rubin to consider a beta extension to make up for the game's shaky servers.
