Former Liverpool star Xabi Alonso has opened up on what he told Thiago Alcantara to convince him to move to Anfield.
The Reds signed Thiago from Bayern Munich two years ago in a deal worth £25million. He has since gone on to win two major trophies and become a key player in Jurgen Klopp’s midfield.
Alonso played alongside Thiago both at Bayern and during the pair’s respective time with the Spain national team. The former Liverpool midfielder has revealed the message he told Thiago that convinced him to move to Anfield in 2020.
