X Factor's Wagner says he debated starting an OnlyFans - but decided against it

X Factor's Wagner has revealed he debated joining OnlyFans - sharing his fears over leaving his kids with nothing when he dies.

The 66-year-old - who shot to fame on the show back in 2010 - opened up about contemplating the idea in a new interview.

However he decided against the thought as his partner Lydia told him it "wouldn't work".

Speaking to Daily Star, he said: "I thought of using OnlyFans to help to sell my custom videos but then my partner Lydia said it wouldn't work because people pay to subscription and it wouldn't be the right place for me to sell my videos."

He continued: "So, I'm not on OnlyFans but I've heard people who are on there like personal trainers and chefs so it's not all about being naked but I know very little about the platform."

During the chat, Wagner also revealed he turned down an opportunity to go on Channel 4's Naked Attraction.

The singer said he declined the offer.

"They invited me the other day to go on Naked Attraction. I would never go there. Never!" he added.

Wagener concluded: "I don't even know if it was a genuine phone call because my telephone number is on my website but maybe it wasn't genuine. I would go there talking about OnlyFans and Naked Attraction - no!"

The Brazilian former PE teacher - whose full name is Wagner Fiuza-Carillho - was 54 when he took to the stage and slithered his hips on X Factor.

He initially didn't make it to the live shows but was brought back as a wildcard by mentor Louis Walsh - who famously loves a novelty act - and joined the Over 28s.

The twice-married star made it through to the quarter finals but ruffled more than a few feathers along the way, quitting the seven-bedroom X Factor share house in Hertfordshire after clashing with the other contestants.

Appearing on This Morning, then X Factor host Jeff Brazier told how Wagner didn't 'get on with anybody', especially fellow singer John Adeleye.

"He went round spraying deodorant everywhere and saying there was a funny smell in the house," Jeff said.

"But John stuck up for everybody else and accused him of sabotaging their throats. So he's moved out."

Two years after the show, Wagner revealed his then 20-year-old girlfriend Lydia Longville was expecting their first child together.

Wagner told love it! magazine that he was already father to a five year old from a previous relationship, but that they'd become estranged.
