Rebecca Ferguson is a married woman!
The X Factor legend, 36, shared the happy news with her fans online last night as she shared the first snap of herself and groom Jonny Hughes.
Mum-of-three Rebecca took to Instagram to tell her 88,900 followers about her 'happily ever after', with her fans and famous friends rushing to comment on the star's surprise announcement.
In the snap posted to Rebecca's account last night, the singer looks sensational in an eye-catching wedding dress covered in diamante details and accessorised with a long matching bejewelled veil.
"And just like that she went on to live happily ever after! Surprise!" Rebecca wrote when captioning the picture of herself beaming next to her new husband.
The newly wed star added: " Click the link in bio for all the details, and pick up a copy of HELLO!, out on Monday, to see all the special moments from our big day."
"Awww congratulations beautiful !" Loose Women panelist Nadia Sawalha wrote to the bride in the comment section, with former glamour model Danielle Lloyd adding: "Congratulations darling."
Katie Waissel - who appeared on the X Factor alongside Rebecca - told her pal: "Muzeltov you gorgeous beautiful wonderful couple you."
Scouse soul singer Rebecca rose to fame thanks to the now-defunct ITV talent show in 2010 - finishing second to Matt Cardle, making her the first female runner-up on The X Factor.
After the final aired in 2010, Rebecca and former One Direction member Zayn Malik struck up a romance before going their separate ways four months later.
Looking back on how her relationship with Zayn attracted a lot of public attention, Rebecca told the Metro in 2020: "At the time I found it really hard. But I mean, in context there were bigger things going on in the world, but at the time – I think I was 23, it was, it was a bit upsetting.
"But life goes on and I look back with fond memories of that relationship and I just think it’s part of learning and growing as a person."
Rebecca, who is mum to Lillie, 18, Karl, 16, and eight-year-old Arabella from previous relationships, announced her engagement to her now-husband at the start of this year.
Sharing photos of herself with Jonny on Instagram in January, she wrote: "I am So ‘Happy’ to announce I am engaged to the love of my life. Dreams can come true."
Over recent weeks, Rebecca has been using her social media platforms to show her support for striking workers across the country fighting for their rights in their bid to secure better working conditions and a pay rise.
"Watching wealthy celebrities who live in homes worth over 1 million pounds arguing why strike action is unacceptable must be so frustrating!" Rebecca began one tweet shared on December 13. "Be quiet they work harder than any of us and some save actual lives so be silent! You wouldn’t accept 31k a year so why should they?"
Two days later, the star added: "If you eliminate the right to strike/protest you start the process to a dictatorial society, history has shown us this. You can disagree with a strike, and still defend a person’s right to do it!"
