Honey G has discussed her strict fitness regime after losing two stone in lockdown.
The X Factor star, 41, wowed fans with her new look after shedding two stone in 2021 – having turned to a life of fitness.
Rapper Honey G, who's real name is Anna Georgette Gilford, has since completed four triathlons and a 20 mile run recently and is now also preparing to run a marathon.
Now, Honey G has discussed her strict fitness routine and revealed she has to be "really disciplined".
She said of her marathon training: "I’m following a strict training plan, and you have to do a long run so I’m running two or three times a week."
Honey G added to The Sun: "I’m training a lot actually. I’m running it with a mental health foundation so doing a lot of training at the moment. I’ve done four triathlons too."
However, the rapper hasn't been put off by the gruelling fitness challenges she's completed so far and plans to do more triathlons in the future.
The X Factor star's new fitness regime isn't getting in the way of her making new music, though.
"I’m balancing my fitness with my music, and I’m doing a lot of running in the evenings and then I’m in the studio during the day, so there’s loads going on," she said.
At the end of 2021, Honey G discussed her weight loss and revealed it gave her the confidence to look for love.
"The weight loss has definitely given me the confidence to put myself out there," she told the Daily Star in December.
"I've always had a bit of a complex about my weight and now I can shop in the likes of Topshop and Miss Selfridge.
"I used to be Size 16 to 18 but I recently bought a pair of size 12 trousers which feels so good."
And in 2020, Honey G revealed she was looking for The One.
"I’m finally in the right place mentally and physically and I’d love to find the woman of my dreams," she confessed to Closer magazine.
"I would love to have children one day too. I’m hoping my new look will help me attract a partner. I’ve been dating in lockdown, but I haven’t found what I’m looking for. Physical attraction is important – but I’m looking for someone to have intelligent conversations with.
"I wouldn’t mind if it were another celebrity, I just want someone who accepts me for who I am."
Honey G first grabbed the attention of the UK when she appeared on the 13th series of The X Factor in 2016.
She received criticism throughout her time on the show, including from judge Nicole Scherzinger who branded her a novelty act.
Despite her time on the talent show dividing viewers, Honey G finished in fifth place. She went on to release her debut single, The Honey G Show, but it failed to make an impact on the charts - peaking at number 149 on the UK Singles Chart.
