Tickets will go on sale tomorrow for Sunderland's League One play-off final clash with Wycombe Wanderers - with the Black Cats set to be backed by almost 44,000 fans at Wembley. Sunderland's 2-1 aggregate win over Sheffield Wednesday in the semi-final has earned the Wearsiders a trip to Wembley on Saturday, May 21, with kick-off at 3pm.
Sunderland were given an allocation of 37,480 tickets for the game, which has since been increased to 43,960, and the travelling red and white army will be accommodated in the West End of the ground. The club has today announced that tickets will go on sale in three phases, with the first phase due to open begin tomorrow at 9am, and - on the advice of the EFL - with all sales to take place online via TicketMaster due to the short timeframe.
There will be no tickets available to purchase either by telephone or in person at the Stadium of Light ticket office.
