Wycombe Wanderers’ League One fixture against MK Dons was temporarily stopped on Saturday after Adebayo Akinfenwa was subjected to a derogatory chant from the visitors’ fans.
Akinfenwa started the game as a substitute on the bench, but the veteran striker was targeted with abuse as he warmed up on the side of the pitch during the first-half.
The 39-year-old then walked over to confront the away supporters, with the Chairboys man visibly angry after the exchange.
