Boston Celtics lead governor and co-owner Wyc Grousbeck recently expressed his happiness with the ball club’s performance at the beginning of the NBA’s 2023-24 season during a guest appearance on WEEI’s “Greg Hill Show,” a popular New England sports radio show.
Pointing to the newfound leadership of Celtics All-NBA forwards Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum as one of the engines driving that success, Grousbeck also touched on the role of hiring former Boston champion guard Sam Cassell as an assistant coach under head coach Joe Mazzulla, and even on the idea to elevate former Boston coach Brad Stevens to President of Basketball Operations.
The Celtics lead governor also touched on a recently released sitcom based loosely on his life.
