Wrestling fans keen to see Judgment Day's Rhea Ripley take on Beth Phoenix following their recent confrontation on Monday Night Raw are not alone, with the former NXT star saying she is keen to get in the ring with the Hall of Famer.
Speaking exclusively to The Mirror at the press launch for Clash at the Castle, WWE's first UK stadium pay per view event in thirty years, Ripley spoke about how she hoped the ongoing Judgment Day feud would lead to a match with former women's champion Phoenix, a bout that she said would be a 'very tough battle.'
Phoenix is married to WWE superstar Edge and in a recent episode of Raw stepped in when her husband was attacked by his former protegees.

Ripley said: "Beth is someone that I looked up to growing up because she was different from everyone else and so was I. She had more muscle, she was a thicker build and that's what I've always been like as well so I gravitated towards her.
"If we do get to step into the ring together and have that clash, then it's gonna be an absolute brutal battle and it's going to bring out a side of both of us that people haven't seen before. So I really hope it does happen."
Ripley was speaking as tens of thousands of fans from across Europe descended on the Welsh capital ahead of Saturday's live event with a series of free and complementary events are taking place across the city.
As a former NXT UK champion Ripley is already well acquainted with British crowds and says she can't wait to get in front of them again: "I miss this place. You guys are always so loud and just crazy and I love every single second of it. The crowd is going to be so wild and it's going to bring all of us to a different level."
