How To Watch Monday Night Raw (6/12/2023)

  • Monday Night Raw City: Wichita, KS
  • Location: Intrust Bank Arena
  • Start time: 8:00 p.m. ET
  • Where to Watch: USA Network

There are a lot of storylines headed into Monday Night Raw, the biggest of which being the Usos continued feud with Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa. Meanwhile, The Judgment Day has been making moves on their own, but some miscommunication last week between Finn Bálor and Damian Priest may need to be addressed on tonight's show.

Rhea Ripley opens up Monday Night Raw to a roaring audience. Everyone is psyched to see Mami. Ripley is met in the ring by Adam Pearce, who has a new title underneath a sheet. We get our first look at the Women's World Champion belt, which looks a lot like the Men's World Heavyweight Championship belt.

Dominik Mysterio joins Rhea Ripley in the ring to a sea of boos. Cody Rhodes' music hits, and he makes his way to the ring. Rhodes indicates he's there to talk about last week's incident in which Dom slapped him. Rhodes explained that because Brock Lesnar won't respond to his calls for another match, he's issuing a challenge to Dom at Money In The Bank. Rhea accepts on Dom's behalf, while The Miz attempts a sneak attack. Dom lands a cheap shot on Rhodes before exiting the ring.

Cody Rhodes vs. The Miz officially starts. Miz of course is taking advantage of Rhodes injury and working moves around his injured arm. Rhodes is ultimately able to turn the tables with a Cody Cutter and secures the win.

Becky Lynch makes her way to the ring. Lynch will be in action against Chelsea Green when Monday Night Raw returns from commercial.

Becky kicks off her promo by mentioning that she's never won the Money In The Bank ladder match. Becky tells the crowd that the person who is truly number one in the company is the person with the most power, and the person with the most power holds the briefcase. Lynch starts on a rant about Trish Stratus before she's interrupted by Zoey Stark.

Stark is unimpressed by Becky Lynch and ready to start a fight, but Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville interrupt the party. Green enters the ring and the match starts.

Monday Night Raw returns and Chelsea Green is in control. Sonya Deville is ringside while Zoey Stark is watching from atop a ladder in the distance. Lynch is able to put Green away eventually with an armlock submission.

Becky Lynch defeats Chelsea Green via submission.

Recap of last week's match between Seth Rollins and Damian Priest plays. We see highlights of the match, and how Finn Bálor's interference inadvertently ruined his chance at winning.

The Judgment Day are seen walking down a hallway that has purple lighting and fog, which is pretty convenient. The faction is in good spirits, but Finn Bálor is clearly upset. Damian Priest heads out for his Money In The Bank qualifying match, and reminds his team not to interfere.

Matt Riddle comes out to the ring, CGI rainbow trash pandas are here, it's pandamonium.

Ricochet makes his way to the ring. He's set to be taking on Bronson Reed when Monday Night Raw returns from break.

Indus Sher with Jinder Mahal appear in backstage promo. They're looking to take on Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander at some point in the future.

Bronson Reed and Ricochet gets underway. Shinsuke Nakamura arrived mid-match to observe the action. Any of these guys are capable of taking down Roman Reigns with the right opportunity, so this should be interesting. Raw heads to commercial.

Monday Night Raw returns to Shinsuke Nakamura seated with the commentary team as the match between Ricochet and Bronson Reed rages on. Nakamura ultimately interrupted the end of the match with an attack on Bronson Reed. Ricochet is upset, but his tiff with Nakamura is interrupted by Reed who attempts to hit a Tsunami on Nakamura. Ricochet and Nakamura join forces for a superplex on Reed.

Bronson Reed defeats Ricochet via disqualification.

Locker room segment with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn having a heart to heart. Zayn asks Owens if he's ok and he's stressed, and Owens confirms he is. Zayn wants to confirm Owens is good and centered, and while Owens thinks he is, he looks unsure. The scene closes on Finn Bálor walking angrily before Raw heads to commercial.

Monday Night Raw returns with Adam Pearce confirming during a phone call the tag title match is legit. He's interrupted by Ricochet who demands a rematch with Bronson Reed. Pearce says that's impossible because Shinsuke Nakamura has a match with Reed. Nakamura tells Ricochet will get a chance at Reed, after Nakamura is done with him.

Finn Bálor makes his way to the ring. He immediately starts in on Seth Rollins, and wants to speak on facts with none of the theatrics. Seth Rollins music hits and he struts out to the ring with the title around his waist. He's sporting a gold and black zig zag suit. Finn tells the crowd to cut with the chanting, but of course, it doesn't end.

Finn Bálor is angry and reminds Rollins that he beat him for the first-ever Universal Championship, but the crowd won't stop chanting. Rollins pretends like he's going to speak but lets the crowd continue to chant. Rollins finally breaks the chanting with a shoutout to Kansas. Unfortunately, it kicks right back up when Bálor tries to speak.

It took a while to die down, and Bálor is finally able to say that Rollins ruined his momentum way back when. Bálor officially issued a challenge to Seth Rollins at Money In The Bank. Rollins laughs and says he's been waiting for this Bálor to return, but the fact of the matter is that Rollins got better over the years while Bálor got bitter. Rollins accepts Bálor's challenge for the World Heavyweight Title at Money In The Bank.

Raquel Rodriguez makes her way to the ring. She's in action against Shayna Baszler when Monday Night Raw returns.
