WWE has announced new information about its long awaited UK stadium event, Clash at the Castle, before tickets go on sale next week.
The event, to be held at the Principality Stadium on Saturday, September 3, is the UK's first WWE stadium event since Summerslam '92. It's already a hot ticket, with more than 59,000 people signing up for the pre-sale within the first fortnight of the date being announced.
As well as giving the first information about how and where to buy tickets, WWE has also confirmed that the event is just part of an extended set of 'events and activities' which will be held in Cardiff around the show.
Speaking of the announcement, WWE superstar Drew McIntyre said: “The city of Cardiff is ready for WWE Clash at the Castle on September 3, and I know that everyone in Wales, across the UK and around the entire world is ready to make history with us, too.
"Get your tickets and be part of the magic. I can’t wait to hear just how loud Principality Stadium can get.”
