With early access windows for the premium editions of WWE 2K26 fast approaching, we’re getting more details about all the different modes on offer. Today, 2K Games has dropped a new Ringside Report on The Island. The American Nightmare, Cody Rhodes, narrates the trailer, and there are plenty of changes that look to make this mode significantly better than the one from WWE 2K25.
This time around, The Island focuses on three disctinct factions: The Order of Tradition, The Order of Shadows, and The Order of Anarchy. Each faction seeks control of the landscape, and each has its unique culture. Cody Rhodes is the face of The Order of Tradition, CM Punk leads The Order of Anarchy, and Rhea Rhipley leads The Order of Shadows.
Everything New With The Island In WWE 2K26

The three factions are lead by some of the biggest names in the business and each have their own unique customs and traditions. For example, The Order of Tradition focuses on the heritage and technical skill of the squared circle. In contrast, Rhea Rhipley’s Order of Shadows embraces the macabre, based out of the former deadlands. Finally, the Order of Anarchy looks to break rules and utilize elite mic skills. It’s fitting then that CM Punk is the face of this order.
These groups will clash at the Scrapyard, the central hub at the site of The Tribal Chief’s former arena. With increased verticality, meaning you’ll be able to utilize scaffolding and elevated platforms for high-vantage attacks beyond the ring.
There’s also a new Towers Mode, a repeatable PvE experience where players can tackle randomized stages to earn Order Reputation. Earning more reputation unlocks specific rewards and higher Prestige tiers. Speaking of which, the new Prestige System acts as a progression gate, requiring you to go through specific quotes to break attribute caps. Becoming a legendary superstar will be a long-term journey this time around.
Players can now form persistent two-person teams to compete in cooperative PvP activities, climbing a ladder that ranges from Bronze to Platinum. The stakes for these rankings are incredibly high, as the top ten players on the weekly leaderboards are awarded actual Championship belts
