Wrestling trials for World Championships to go ahead on August 25-26

NEW DELHI: Despite the suspension of Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) by the United World Wrestling (UWW) for failing to hold timely elections, the trials to select the Indian team for the upcoming World Championships are set to proceed as originally scheduled on August 25-26.

With the suspension of WFI in place, the Indian grapplers will be ineligible to participate under the national flag in the World Championships.
