Alan Shearer is impressed with the strength in depth Jurgen Klopp has at his disposal after bringing on Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino off the bench during Liverpool's 2-0 win at Arsenal on Wednesday night.
Liverpool's win at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium took them to within just a point of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League and have now won nine games on the bounce in the league.
Salah was only fit enough for a place on the bench after coming off injured during Liverpool 's win at Brighton last Sunday and he was called upon alongside Firmino when the scores were level in the early stages of the second half.

“(Liverpool were) much quicker in possession,” the Premier League legend said on Optus Sport.
“Very good management deciding still to change it when Jota scored with his last kick. Then Firmino comes on and adds that second. From then on, it was never in doubt really. That was a much different second half. That is what stood out for me tonight about Arsenal more than anything is how they were lacking so much in that final third. They defended well at times, particularly in that first half.
“But just when you need that little bit extra, that little bit of quality in and around that 18-yard box, Arsenal didn’t have that and it was the standout. From a Liverpool point of view, completely different. You’ve got a guy who scores a goal, the manager makes a brave decision still decides to bring him off. Look at the two they’re bringing on! Salah and Firmino… wow. Enough said.”
